Board a 4WD jeep and get ready for an exciting and breathtaking trip to Jebel Harim (translated from Arabic as ‘Mountain of Women’). With a height of 6,260 feet it is the highest peak on the Musandam Peninsula. During your journey to Jebel Harim you will be able to take in some incredible vistas, including terraced mountain villages, lush Acacia forests and wadis (dry river beds). Following little over an hour’s drive make a stop at a Bedouin village located at an elevation of 3,000 feet. The village of Sayh, surrounded by palm groves, is one of the most picturesque villages on the Peninsula. After a photo-stop at this idyllic setting, continue the drive with time to admire the grand panorama from the mountain's summit. The return journey passes Al Khalidiyah Nature Park before concluding at the pier.

Overnight at Atana Khasab Hotel or similar.

Day 02:

Breakfast at Hotel.

The highlight of Musandam – a full day Dhow Cruise

This excursion will have great appeal for those looking for an unusual outing. Board a traditional Omani Dhow pier side and cruise towards Musandam's longest and most spectacular fjord, often referred to as "Norway of Arabia". Here calm, turquoise waters contrast with creamy white limestone cliffs. Along the way you will pass small fishing villages. Dolphins are often spotted swimming alongside while cruising inside the fjords. The Dhow passes by Telegraph Island, infamous for the British Naval staff succumbing to madness when they were posted to this remote station in the mid-19th Century. The British laid the first telegraph cable here in 1864, running from India to Basra, Iraq and the island was manned for about 5 years. The Dhow will anchor in the vicinity off Telegraph Island, allowing you to swim or just sit back and enjoy light refreshments whilst admiring the breathtaking views of mountains rising in the distance to over 2,000 feet. Then leaving anchorage, conclude this outing with a leisurely cruise back to the pier.

Day 03:

Breakfast at Hotel.

Check out from hotel and proceed for a short orientation tour of Khasab before dropping at Airport to fly back to Muscat.
